Hannibal Lecter reads an Irish short story…or not…

A Irish short story of hope that is never realised.This is an Irish short story I read and then listened to on podcast. The story is by Eugene McCabe and narrated here by Colm Toibin. It made laugh as Colm Toibin sounds a bit like a camp Hannibal Lecter in parts! Don’t let that put you off though, a beautifully interesting story..
