A ghost in the throat by Doireann Ni Ghriofa.
Really enjoyed this mix of getting to know about Doireann and her life as well as her utter fascination with Eibhlin Dubh Ni Chonaill. Eibhlin composed Caoineash, a lament for her husband Art when he was murdered and Doireann goes on a mystery research trail trying to find out why Eibhlin was deleted from history. The book also contains Doireann’s translation of the poem.
This book was a easy but challenging read and one I read ultra quickly. Recommended from me!

Lovely to be back to my short stories. It's a good life.

American Dirt.
This is a good book. She writes well. If it's a drama, plot based book you want, you might like this. I'm not sure if it really got to the surface of migration though.

This interview with Kevin Barry and Jan Carson is excellent.
